For year-round enjoyment, windsurfing has become extremely popular on the Tunisian coasts, which serve as departure and arrival points for Mediterranean and Trans-Mediterranean competitions.

The Bizerte port and Sidi Bou Saîd marina are home to a sailing and windsurfing school and both have an excellent reputation for hosting international events. An increasing number of local events are also being held, especially in hotel areas. If you’re visiting between December and April, just remember that windsurfers need appropriate gear for the cooler season.
